Lisa Escoto draws on her experience as a government employee, government contractor, and special needs mom to help families create government-funded individual group homes. She created one for her adult daughter, Elena, and now helps other families do the same.
Joy Charles
Community Builder, OSG
Joy Charles is a special education advocate and mother of two sons on the autism spectrum who is dedicated to building a more inclusive world. With experience in event planning and advocacy, she works with OSG to create inclusive communities that offer affordable, independent housing and accessible activities for individuals with disabilities and their families. Joy also represents Fairfax County students with disabilities on school boards and advocacy committees.
